Great work, love this.

I absolutely loved this game! I could love to see a larger game where this world is expanded upon somehow. Overall the gameplay was smooth, enjoyable, not too challenging, but still engaging enough to keep my focus. I feel that maybe the enemies could have been a little more difficult? At least to make the health and energy a little more worth collecting. I also hope I managed to find all the Kingly Secrets lol I hope you don't mind but I made a let's play of your game. I can't wait to see what else you make!

Awesome, it's super cool to watch someone having fun with the game! Hilarious thumbnail by the way. I think the secret-hunting turned out to be the most (only?) compelling part so I  was psyched to see you get into that. Thanks for making the video and so glad you dug it! I actually just started working on a follow-up (similar mechanics but probably a different premise) so we'll see if that goes anywhere...

I'm glad you liked the thumbnail! I  was a little nervous on how it would come out lol But yes! I  really enjoyed it over all and I can't wait to see the follow-up! :D

This is a lovely game, reminds me of Kingdom Hearts.

Overall is this game great, i only wish there were more of different enemies and having a Boss before the end make this a even better game.

I made a video about this game if someone is interested

Cool, thanks for making the video! Regarding the Kingly Secrets-- if you bring up the menu by pressing Esc (or Start on controller) you can see how many there are in the level. There's an alternate ending if you find them all... which I don't think anyone has yet :)

I liked this game a lot! It looks like a game I would see a friend play on his Playstation 2. One problem I noticed is that there's bugs appear on one playthrough but not on another. And, like tyk said, the movement is a bit slippery.

I really loved what you achieved by this game, the stylization and execution are perfect! You nailed almost everything from the assets to the sound design and I hope you keep up with the fantastic work, would love a fleshed out game just like this one but bigger.

My video on Animals in Buildings.

I love this so much. I really hope you continue to develop it into a fully fleshed out game. There aren't enough good 3D action platformers done in the PSX style, and this has a lot of potential of becoming a very memorable title. Thanks for making it, I enjoyed everything about it!

Do you by any chance enjoy playing the Mercenary in Risk of Rain 2 with the rising thunder alternate secondary skill? You don't actually see him; it could be a little creature under the suit.

I found the platforming to be slippery on landing, which made landing on single block wide platforms tricky and fights on platforms an oddly satisfying seat of your pants scramble to use your attacks and dashes to counter the momentum from your previous attack/dash in order to keep from flying off the edge while still killing the enemies.

I loved it! The atmosphere, the music, simple but straight forward gameplay, good platforming with harder parts for secrets, great game all together.

I wish I had more of it! (Maybe a payed version with some more levels, some bosses, some more features?)

Keep it up

Glad you enjoyed it! I've got no immediate plans to go back to it, but you never know.

That was a lot of fun, good job!

Thanks for playing!

brillant game and nostalgic ---gg

Neat, thanks for making a video!

Ho-ly shit this is easily gonna be my favorite out of all the games in this jam just absolutely phenomenal. Did you do all the sound design and music too?? I'm blown away. Thank you for this I've been wanting a game like this for so long now

Cool, so glad you liked it! I did all the music using a couple programs on my iPad, Thumbjam and Music Studio. I actually had a pile of mostly 20 second long little tunes I had made over the course of years and they all fit the game pretty well. Most of the sounds are from Freesound.org, usually with a little editing but nothing major. Credits for those are in the Readme file with the game!
